A&B Towing & Recovery is now accepting applications for tow truck drivers dispatchers and a full time well qualified mechanic for a fleet of 21 trucks. We are under new ownership and new management. We are working towards being the leader for Portland's Towing & Recovery needs. With the right personnel we will accomplish our goal of being the best. We offer paid vacations, flexible shifts. 2 weeks of training on various types of trucks, training for towing & recovery on all types of vehicles, and training on how to fill out paperwork and invoices for all calls. Training is paid hourly. After completion of training, new drivers will be payed on a commission basis., with the availability of making 27% as soon as you are trained. Drivers at A & B Towing & Recovery make anywhere from $100.00 to $1000.00 per week. Depending on availability to respond to and run calls.
We service various major and minor repair facilities, large company fleets, various auto clubs, and Portland, Clackamas, Gresham, Troutdale, and Oregon State Police Departments. We also service various business for private property impounds.
Our fleet of trucks are well maintained, state of the art, latest model wreckers available. All trucks have 2 way radios, pagers, and Thomas Guides.
You need to be well groomed, self motivated, pleasant and able to work well with others, i e: dispatchers, police officers, fire fighters, dot crews. Also help customers through an unforeseen problem in their day with either a breakdown or an accident. Must have own transportation and come to work with a pen and gloves.
